Our Veterinary Team Welcome You

Dr. Helen Lee BVSc MRCVS

Helen Lee is the senior Veterinary Surgeon at Walton Lodge. Helen qualified from Bristol University in 1984 and has worked in Hertfordshire since 1985 as a small animal Veterinary Surgeon. In 2000, Helen and her partner Rodney Pugh started the Walton Lodge Group, which has now flourished to over seven surgeries. Helen's philosophy: “Pets are more than just animals - they are our patients, every minute detail of concern and consideration is to observed and acted upon immediately”. Helen's love for animals open out to her own pets, a Chinese Crested dog called Oscar who is a three-legged 'rescuee' and Rupert a blonde Minature Poodle.

Zoe Whiting BVetMed MRCVS

Zoe qualified from the Royal Veterinary College (R.V.C) in 1999. She worked with pets, farm animals and horses in the Midlands for six years. She began working for Walton Lodge in 2005. Zoe is one of our longest serving and most experienced vets, she enjoys focusing solely on small animals, and continues to find the daily variety of first opinion work interesting and rewarding.

Paulina Ruszelak VetMB MRCVS

Paulina is one of our other experienced international vets who started work in Bradford, after graduating from the University of Wroclaw, Poland in 2006. Paulina joined the Walton Lodge team in 2008. In early 2011, she took maternity leave to give birth to her little girl; returning back to work in December 2011. Paulina has a particular interest in diabetes mellitus and soft tissue surgery. Paulina's love of animals extends to a very large Lucher called Loopi Lou, whom she rescued.

Anish Patel BVetMed MRCVS

Graduated in July 2011 from the RVC. Anish joined Walton Lodge in June 2012 after spending a lot of time in the USA. Anish believes in practicing high quality medicine with my interests lying in small animal surgery, orthopaedics, and neurology. My ambition is to increase my knowledge and practical ability in these areas and one day start my own practice. My main hobbies are sports; especially football and tennis. Currently playing every Thursday for the Walton Lodge 5-aside team. Also enjoys travelling.

Ewelina Druciarek VetMB MRCVS

Graduated in 2008 while living in Poland. Joined Walton Lodge Veterinary Group in May 2013 and mostly worked in the Harlow Branch. I am very passionate about my work and have a keen interest in Dermatology. When I moved to England I did some voluntary work in London to gain more experience in the animal world. I have a pet called Edka. Outside of work I like to go on long walks, so that I can discover more of what England’s country-side is all about.
